I am so incredibly thrilled that it's finally May! Not only is May my birthday month, but it's such a charming time of transition. The seasons really begin to come into themselves, the workload at school gets more relaxed, and I'm turning another year older...ahem, hello there beautiful 16! The beginning of the month certainly calls for something a little extra, and that's where my dress comes into play. I wore this dress originally for my cousin's wedding; it's a simple floral chiffon maxi dress with a sweetheart neckline, but I knew today I wanted it to make it casual (a la Jessica Alba). So I threw on a black tank, a thin belt around the waist and a denim vest over my shoulders and sashayed out the door.
